Selena Gomez and Niall Horan have been hit with dating rumors after reports claimed they were seen getting intimate with each other the past week. While they have yet to comment on the real status of their relationship, another source came out saying the "Come and Get It" singer had always thought of the 22-year-old Brit singer as more than just a friend.

A source told Hollywood Life that Gomez had already reconsidered having a possible romantic relationship with the One Direction singer even before the rumors started. The "Same Old Love" singer reportedly thought of being "more than just friends" with Horan within the last month.

"And it came together full force this past weekend for her," the source said.

On Sunday, the pair was spotted hanging out with some friends at the Santa Monica pier. Few people claimed they saw Horan and Gomez having a dinner date and having ice cream together before they headed out to the pier for a rollercoaster ride.

People who saw them at the pier noted how adorable they looked together. Horan and Gomez were reportedly enjoying each other's company. They were even seen holding hands and laughing as they stood in line for the roller coaster ride.

A fan video has been making the rounds online showing the rumored couple surrounded by fans as they walked to their ride. Horan is seen walking ahead and Gomez following behind him. Another video showed them on the same rollercoaster seat, with Gomez showing how she's clearly enjoying the moment by raising her arms up in the air.

Horan and Gomez were also allegedly seen showing a lot of PDA during Jena Dewan-Tatum's birthday on Friday, which was held at Bootsy Bellows in Los Angeles. Several eyewitnesses claimed they saw the pair hugging and kissing in front of the other guests. It's believed Horan and Gomez stuck to each other's side the entire time and even left the party together.

Gomez has yet to comment on rumors she and Horan kissed at the party. However, another source told Hollywood Life in a separate report that she actually enjoyed the kiss. The source even claimed it was the kiss that sealed their relationship.

"Selena never really thought there was any chemistry between her and Niall, but that all changed after he kissed her. That kiss changed everything," the source said, adding that Gomez had even compared kissing Horan with fireworks since it was "electric."
