GTA V Online News: Every Bullet Counts Mode Released
A brand new online mode has come to Grand Theft Auto V, requiring some skill and luck from players to survive.
The Every Bullet Counts online mode is now available on the Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4 versions of GTA V, CNet reports.
In the game mode, four players face off against each other in an ultimate, last man standing shootout. The only problem is, each player only has a basic pistol and two bullets.
With only two bullets each, a player will have to be a perfect marksman in order to kill two out of three enemies. The third enemy will have to be killed in another way, like with a melee attack or handheld weapon.
As long as players keep moving and trying to kill their opponents, their locations will remain secret. If players start camping or hiding, their locations will show up on the radar as blips, and opponents will be able to easily track them down.
The Every Bullet Counts online mode will be playable in locations like the De Santa mansion in Rockford Hills and the Tequi-la-la nightclub in downtown Los Santos.
GTA V players will be able to experience Every Bullet Counts starting Tuesday through the GTA Online playlist. Unlike previous online modes, Every Bullet Counts will not be available on the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360.
GTA publisher Rockstar is focusing on the next generation consoles for future GTA Online updates, and the previous generation consoles might not see much new online content.
The official description of Every Bullet Counts from Rockstar reads, "With no safe place to hide, four players go up against each other in a confined space with a very limited arsenal: just one marksman pistol and two bullets to take out three opponents. Tactics are key here--once players have exhausted their ammo, they'll need to resort to crafty melee attacks with their Hatchet or Machete to make it out alive. Campers and lurkers be warned, though: anyone staying still for more than 5 seconds will have their blip revealed on the map, making them an easier target for enemies who are wisely moving from cover to cover."
