WWE 'SmackDown' Spoilers, Results for Dec 10, 2015: Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose in Tag Team Main Event [Watch]
The final "SmackDown" before "WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs" finished its taping, and it included another tag-team main event, featuring Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose.
A tag-team match also opened the show, when The Lucha Dragons defeated WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day in a non-title match. The Lucha Dragons will have an opportunity to win the tag titles on Sunday at "WWE TLC," when they compete in a triple threat ladder match against The Usos and current champions New Day.
Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens returned to "SmackDown" following a brief illness, which sidelined him last week. This week, he signed a contract with his "TLC" challenger Ambrose. As is the standard with WWE contact signings, Ambrose and Owens brawled in the ring.
Since last week, Ryback has been involved in small feud against Rusev and Lana. Rusev didn't have a match at "SmackDown," but Ryback did compete in a handicap match against former NXT Tag Team Champions The Ascension, which Ryback won.
In a "Survivor Series" rematch, Tyler Breeze fought Dolph Ziggler. Unlike "Survivor Series," when Breeze got the victory, Ziggler won.
For the penultimate match of the night, two former members of Team PCB came together in a one-on-one match. Paige, who has a match against WWE Divas Champion Charlotte at "TLC" on Sunday, had a match against Becky Lynch. The Irish lass defeated the Englishwoman via submission.
For the main event, Reigns and Ambrose fought Owens and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus. Just like at the last "Monday Night Raw," when Reigns was booked better than Sheamus, Reigns and Ambrose continued their winning ways at "SmackDown."
"WWE SmackDown" airs weekly on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on SyFy.
