Recently, Justin Bieber had fans freaked out over his mystery girl crush on Instagram, which instantly sparked a massive Google search to determine the girl's identity.

The woman has now been identified as someone named Cindy Kimberly.

Despite the media attention his post received, the Canadian singer's ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez is reportedly not bothered. Gomez reportedly thinks of Bieber's Instagram girl crush as nothing but a mere infatuation. Posting her photo on his Instagram is supposedly just his way of getting back at her for her rumored romance with Niall Horan.

"It's like some sort of revenge and payback because of her relationship with Niall," a source told HollywoodLife.

The source added that, when the "Same Old Love" singer heard about Bieber's crush on Kimberly, she "just cringed." Gomez reportedly thinks it's just a silly crush and "knows without a doubt that this is Justin's attempt to try to make her jealous."

 Omg who is this!!

The "Sorry" singer posted Kimberly's photo on his Instagram on Tuesday, a few days after Gomez and Horan were spotted hanging out together with friends at the Santa Monica pier. On Saturday, Dec. 5, the pair reportedly had dinner and ice cream together before joining friends enjoy a roller coaster ride.

They were reportedly also spotted hugging and kissing at Jenna Dewan-Tatum's birthday party in Los Angeles. Eyewitnesses said Gomez and Horan acted like they were a couple and they also left the party together.

Meanwhile, Kimberly has since responded to the media attention she's been getting after Bieber took notice of her on Instagram. She didn't post a video or photo, but expressed how she's clearly affected by all the attention. She also advised that she doesn't have any other social media accounts except Instagram. So, whoever has her name on Twitter and Tumblr could be a copycat.

Looking through Instagram for the handle name, wolfiecindy, yields more than three users. It would be difficult to determine if she is the same person Bieber was referring to on his Instagram post. Commentators on her recent post also voiced out this doubt. One user asked if she could add a photo or a video to her message to prove she's the real Kimberly that the "Baby" singer was talking about.

At the moment, it is still uncertain if Bieber has plans to pursue her. It's believed she's only 17 and, according to Cosmopolitan, she is also Canadian just like the pop star.
