Months after filing for divorce, the relationship between Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom continues to shift. While the couple has not formally made up, they continue communicating, though they appear to have different motives.

Learning from one's mistakes may be something that Odom may have learned after his drug-filled nights that led to his separation from his wife, and now he is passing down his knowledge on to his children. According to Hollywood Life, Odom, 34, has decided to salvage what remains of his life and restore a normalcy to his and his children's lives, though he is probably also aiming to impress Kardashian with his improvements.

A source exclusively speaking with Hollywood Life asserted that Khloé and Lamar speak often and his attempts at turning his life around have made an impression on her.

"She especially likes how he talks about his children and how he's becoming more involved and present in their lives," the source told HollywoodLife.com. "He talks about how he reads to both his children, how he talks to them and encourages them to be great and they even discuss drugs. He made it a point to tell Khloe that he and his daughter talked about drug abuse and how he told his daughter never to try them."

Though she approves of his work with his children, it is not sufficient for a change of heart. The source explains that Khloé will not be returning any time soon to Lamar and more than likely the couple will not have children together.

"They didn't get that far, unfortunately. It was talked about and planned for a while but a child wasn't dealt to them," the source explained. "Looking back, with all the things they went through, Khloe's glad they didn't birth a child. That would have been devastating to her, Lamar and their child."

Instead, the Kardashian sister has begun to look for love elsewhere. According to rumors, Khloé has begun seeing rapper French Montana. Reports cited him dating Miley Cyrus, however, it does not seem like he is with her but rather Khloe. How will Lamar feel?
