Nick Cannon proves he holds no bad blood for ex-wife Mariah Carey in a recent interview. The "America's Got Talent" host even admitted during an appearance on "The Ellen Show" that he would like to meet Carey's new boyfriend, Australian billionaire James Packer.

Talking about his children with Carey to host Ellen DeGeneres, Cannon was asked if he has already met Packer. The 35-year-old admitted that he hasn't met him yet.

"I want to, though. I think that'd be cool," Cannon is heard saying in the video below, taken from his interview on The Ellen Show. He further shared, "I think that would be cool. It's still like, we've talked about it and stuff, it seems like it's cool."

In the same interview, Cannon also talked about how his children with Carey, four-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan, sharing that they are his priority. He talked about the importance of family for his children.

DeGeneres showed a photo of him, Carey and their kids spending Thanksgiving together, to which he said, "Yeah, it's family. That's a family time and we'll always be a family."

"We make the kids the number one priority. And for them to see their parents together and everybody get along and have a great time," Cannon explained further to DeGeneres.

While Carey has since moved on with Packer following their divorce, Cannon has yet to find love again. The actor insisted he is currently still single because he wants to establish being in his children's lives first before committing to another serious relationship. He also considered his busy schedule as another factor that keeps him from having a girlfriend. If he's not working, he makes it a point to spend his time with his kids.

Even though he told DeGeneres that he doesn't consider hanging out with his girl friends as dating, Cannon has been linked to several girls following his split from Carey. He also doesn't consider it a booty call and jokingly said that he's been working on being celibate.

Meanwhile, Carey and Packer have since made their relationship known when they made their red carpet debut as a couple back in September. The couple, who started dating in June according to Hello Magazine, walked the red carpet together during the New York premiere of "The Intern," which stars Ann Hathaway and Robert De Niro.
