While there may be plenty of rumors surrounding singer Becky G's love life, the singer revealed that she doesn't have time for dating.

In an interview with Time, the 18-year-old discussed her career and upcoming album. In the process, she explained that because of her budding career she doesn't necessarily have time to date, but her past relationships and experiences have helped inspire her music.

The teen revealed that her forthcoming album will be more mature and honest. She added it will definitely deal with experiences that have helped shape her personality.

"I feel like everything always comes back to love. Being Latina, we're very passionate people, and I love to love. The way that they love and all the things they've gone through, I learned to love that way. But I can't really apply it to my career because I'm never going to have time to be with anybody," she explained. "As a teenage girl, I want to have a cute boyfriend! But I don't got time for one. When you do have one, it's great, but then you're in this tug between [work and your relationship]. I'm taking that inspiration, being super honest about it and applying it to my music. It's so relatable."

Besides working on her debut album, the star's time is even more restricted due to her busy touring schedule. She also recently finished touring with reggaeton star J Balvin and starred in a guest role on "Empire."

The young star has been open with her fans about her personal life and has been honest about being in relationships.

During an interview with Ryan Seacrest, the pop star was asked about her relationship with pop singer Austin Mahone and whether she was in love.

"Am I in love? I'm young! I'm doing what young people should do. It's having fun," the singer said.

Despite current rumors that have linked the singer to other young artists, including regional Mexican singer Luis Coronel, the young Latina insisted that she is single.
