Batman & Robin star George Clooney has perhaps captured the heart of his new girlfriend.

Nearly a week after Clooney's ex-girlfriend Stacy Keibler, who is having a baby, got married, Clooney has been spotted with his new girlfriend Amal Alamuddin. Unlike Keibler and some of his past girlfriends who were involved in entertainment, Alamuddin is not.

Alamuddin is of Lebanese origin, but is a naturalized British citizen, The Daily Mail reported. Alamuddin comes from a family of intellectuals, government officials, journalists, and business people. Alamuddin once was an adviser to former United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan.

Alamuddin and Clooney were spotted together in October, but they denied such relationship rumors, Yahoo Celebrity reported. Since then, together they have been seen in Seychelles, Washington, D.C., New York, and most recently Los Angeles. Clooney also brought Alamuddin, as his guest, to a special White House screening of his latest film The Monuments Men.

But the picture that had everyone talking was their time in Tanzania, the USA Today reported. Clooney and Alamuddin were photographed on a romantic safari in the African country. And most recently, Clooney and Alamuddin were seen on a double date with Emily Blunt and John Krasinski. Maybe Clooney and Alamuddin's new Hollywood it name should be "CLAM?" The experts will chose their name later.

But here is what we know about Alamuddin, according to Yahoo Celebrity: she is a lawyer, who specializes in international law, human rights, extradition, and criminal law. In 2011, in the beginning, she represented WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, in his fight against extradition.

Alamuddin is smart, and not saying Clooney's past girlfriends were not, she is Oxford-educated, and speaks fluently three languages: Arabic, French, and English. And, she is a graduate of the New York University School of Law.

Alamuddin is an activist. And she comes from a highly esteemed family. Amal's mother Baria, is an award-winning journalist and broadcaster in the Middle East and the U.K.; and Baria has interviewed former President Bill Clinton, former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, and former President Fidel Castro, just to name a few. Her grandfather was a government minister.

Recently she just gave up on Twitter, although Alamuddin was a hit on the social media site; Ashton Kutcher and Julia Gillard, the former prime minister of Australia, were a few of her famous followers. Perhaps, it had something to do with Clooney's rant about Twitter in November, where he found the site and its users to be "morons." Alamuddin shut down her account soon after, the USA Today reported.
