Singer and actress Selena Gomez is once again in the middle of dating rumors, but this time, it's not with her on-again and off-again boyfriend "Sorry" singer Justin Bieber, but with One Direction member Niall Horan.

Hollywood Life recently claimed that Gomez and Horan were dating and Gomez even chose the One Direction singer over Bieber since her ex-boyfriend was non-committal. The news comes after several publications claimed to have spotted Gomez and Horan locking lips at Jenna Dewan-Tatum's 35th birthday celebration.

Confirmations have yet to be made by the parties involved, but the publication is stressing that Gomez have finally chosen Horan over Bieber since the former is ready to commit to her compared to Bieber, who was also recently seen with another girl named Cindy Kimberly.

"[Selena] explained to Justin that it was never her intention to hurt him and that things with Niall just happened naturally," an insider revealed to the news agency.

"She begged him not to be angry at Niall and not to think that he tried to deliberately try and betray him. Selena told him that Niall never tried to go behind his back, and that had she been in a committed relationship with [Justin] this never would have happened in the first place," the insider added.

However, despite the claims of the publication, Gossip Cop was fast to destroy the credibility of the news. The publication said that according to their source, the conversation between Gomez and Bieber didn't even occur and the two were still friendly.

Meanwhile, as the rumors keep claiming different things, Gomez herself was spotted favoring One Direction over Bieber. When one user on Instagram asked which album to purchase, Bieber's "Purpose" or One Direction's "Made in the A.M.," Gomez commented and said "Made in the A.M." The post was seen in a screenshot by a Twitter user.

However, sales wise, Bieber is leading. "Purpose" alreadY sold 649,000 compared to One Direction's 459,000 copies sold in the first week of release. Both Bieber and One Direction have released their albums on the same date last Nov. 13," ET reports.

As it is known that Bieber is close to One Direction, including Horan, Hollywood Life further claims that Bieber is disappointed in finding out about Gomez and Horan.

"Justin is absolutely floored that Selena and Niall were seen kissing each other," a source told the publication. However, Bieber has yet to comment on the claimed statements by the news outlet.
