Little Mix and Elton John were among the performers during the Royal Variety Performance last month held at the Royal Albert Hall in London. In a recent interview, one of the girls' mother revealed that the group had a chance to talk to the musician, where he confessed about liking their song "Black Magic."

Talking to The Shields Gazette, Jade Thirlwall's mother, Norma, opened up about the group's exciting time at the annual music event. She revealed how Sir Elton John had approached the girls and told them that he has listened to "Black Magic."

"Jade even said that Elton John went up to them and said he loved Black Magic and she was so excited, she couldn't believe that Elton John knew who they were and loved their song," Norma said.

Little Mix was also joined at the event by comedian Chris Ramsey, who also performed for the royals on stage. He later posed for a photo with Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards.

The group, which also includes Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson, greeted the Prince of Wales, Prince Harry, after their performance. A photo shared by The Shields Gazette shows Thirlwall shaking hands with the prince while the rest of the girls look at Harry with smiles on their faces.

Little Mix has since expressed their excitement to meet the prince ahead of the Royal Variety Performance. Edwards, who just recently split from former One Direction singer Zayn Malik, had openly revealed that she may have a crush on the royal. Talking to Digital Spy, Edwards had shared her nervousness meeting the prince at the event.

"I'm petrified. I'm just nervous about everything, But, it's like Prince Harry's watching! It's making me nervous," Edwards had said prior to their performance.

It didn't help during the night when host and comedian Jack Whitehall teased the Prince of Wales with the Little Mix girls. According to Mirror UK, it all began when Whitehall attempted to match-make the prince while on stage.

Whitehall had talked about hearing singer Kylie Minogue and Ricky Martin confessed backstage about having crushes on him. Then he suggested that Prince Harry is on Tinder when he told him to log in to his account to consider dating the Little Mix girls.

Prince Harry was reportedly seen laughing along to the host's joke. By the end of the event, he jokingly snubbed Whitehall after shaking Sir Elton John's hand as seen in the video below.
