A smartphone packed with a battery of humongous power is arriving soon. Oukitel K10000 is now available for pre-order.

A unique smartphone because of its massive battery capacity, Oukitel K10000 is getting a 10000-mAh battery, which according to Android Authority, is enough for the smartphone to run for 10 to 15 days after a single charge. Tech enthusiasts and fans worldwide interested in getting their hands on the phone can now pre-order it.

The official release date for Oukitel K10000 is set for January 2, according to Phone Arena. Oukitel, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is offering the smartphone with a regular price tag of $239.99.

However, using the promo code K10000 on Gearbest, a US retailer, will give players some savings as discounted price will be $199.99. Worldwide shipping via Gearbest is also free, according to The Techolic.

Though Oukitel K10000 may have such powerful battery capacity, the smartphone is still regarded by GSM Arena as a mid-range smartphone, considering its other specs.

Oukitel K10000 has a 5.5-inch HD IPS display screen. It comes with a 1280 x 720p resolution and with an 86 percent body-to-screen ratio.

Under the hood, it is packed with a MediaTek MT6735 quad-core 64-bit processor and Mali-T720 for its GPU. The phone uses 2 GB of RAM and features 16 GB of internal memory storage capacity.

Those who wish to expand the memory can use a microSD card with up to 32 GB volume. As for its OS, it is pre-installed with Android 5.1 Lollipop.

As for the camera, its primary shooter has an 8MP lens sensor and a LED flash. The front-facing selfie cam, on the other hand, features 2-MP lens.

Oukitel K10000 also supports dual-sim functionality with the use of micro-SIMS. Connectivity options available for the upcoming Chinese smartphone are 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WCDMA, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG and GPS.

The smartphone is metal-framed and it comes with an unusual design. "It is designed to have hexa-faceted edges for the mid-frame that are both curved and angular for better grip," The Techolic explained.
