Fallout Shelter gets a new update from Bethesda. It adds new adorable pets and a lot more.

Fallout Shelter, a hit mobile game from Bethesda, recently received version 1.3 update. One of the remarkable changes it brings is the introduction of pets. According to Attack of the Fanboy, vault dwellers can now have their own four-legged companions such as a German Shepherd Dogmeat.

iDigitalTimes reported that each dog and cats can be purchased in the store for $0.99. Meanwhile, those who will buy five pets can have them for only $2.99.

Furthermore, according to Game Radar, players will get a Pet Carrier for free upon getting the latest Fallout Shelter update. It can be opened like a Vault-Tech Lunchbox and players can avail more via in-app purchases.

Aside from being adorable, the newly-introduced pets "also give special bonuses to whichever Vault Dweller" that players assign them. The Game Radar's report explained that the pets act as a third piece of equipment, in addition to outfit and weapon.

For players who are interested in getting more powerful bonuses, they can opt to have rarer kind of pets. Accordingly, some of them can work in the Vault or help others with exploration.

As cited on the patch notes on Fallout Shelter's page on the iOS App Store, upon installing the latest update, Overseers now have the authority to evict lazy Dwellers to the Wasteland. Bethesda also provided more ways to impress and flirt with Dwellers.

Improvements on Dweller Management as well as new objectives were also added, helping experienced Overseers to handle things smoothly. There's also new sell all option for players trying out to clear our the surplus in their inventories.

As described on Fallout Shelter's official website, the Bethesda mobile game, available to both iOS and Android platforms, puts the players "in control of a state-of-the-art underground Vault from Vault-Tec."

Fallout Shelter player's main mission is to create a perfect Vault as well as keep the Dwellers happy, and "protect them from the dangers of the Wasteland" using tools provided by the Vault-Tec.
