‘Supernatural’ Spoilers Season 11 Episode 10: Crowley Loves Christmas? [WATCH]
Even a horror show like "Supernatural" does Christmas specials, although with a little twist that slants toward their own themes. That will be the case for the next episode, which won't actually happen until nearly a month after Christmas is over.
Episode 11, titled "The Devil in the Details," will air on broadcast network The CW next year on Jan. 20 at 9 p.m. EST, according to The CW.
There are very few details about this episode available, but judging by the looks of the trailer, it is going to have some quite comical aspects to it, especially in regards to Crowley and Rowena.
The episode seems to be shaping up to be a parody type, which has been done in the past. Fans can see it as similar to the episode where the Winchester brothers went through a portal and were transported to the world of Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki and the producers of the show. You may remember it as the one where a demon kills Misha Collins in real life.
But this episode will be a quite different take on that style of programming. Instead, fans will get a dose of what life would be like if Crowley was really just an overgrown child and Rowena was his loving mother who just so happens to embrace the holidays with quite a bit of enthusiasm. Although this could also be a spell that she cast over them so she could slide her agenda into the mix.
Just imagine an excited Crowley getting up on Christmas morning and opening a present that had a small doll of Sam Winchester in it.
"Mom, mom! Look! I got a Sam," Crowley said in the preview.
What is perhaps the most delivering treat in the trailer is the appearance of Sam and Lucifer in the cage together.
But we would be remiss if we didn't at least mention that it appears old yellow-eyes demon himself makes a guest appearance as Santa.
