NBA 2K16 News: Roster Updates Include New Player Ratings, New Christmas Clothing Available
A roster update is now live for NBA 2K16 and several players are trending upwards, especially Stephen Curry. Curry is now rated a very impressive 96 for his overall rating.
Curry saw his rating go up to 96, but Carmelo Anthony's seven-point increase was the most impressive, according to 2KMT.
Paul George increased to a 92 overall, up two points. George saw his standing shot close increase three points to 97, and his moving shot close increased three points to 97.
Anthony is now an 86 overall rated player in NBA 2K16. Anthony's standing shot close increased to a 91 rating, up seven points. He also went up by six points to 90 for moving shot close.
LeBron James had his standing shot close rating decrease from 96 to 84. His moving shot decreased from 97 to 83. He did see his free throw rating increased from 65 to 76.
With Curry's increase to 96, he is now included in the Diamond level in MyTeam. Curry is now rated at the same level as Bill Russell, Larry Bird, Shaquille O'Neal and the 1998-1999 Michael Jordan. There are players that are rated higher than 96, and they are Magic Johnson, Diamond LeBron James, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Michael Jordan.
The new "Fear the Deer" Milwaukee Bucks black basketball court is now available in NBA 2K16. The court is easily unlocked just by selecting the alternate jerseys when playing a home game with the Bucks.
There is also brand new special holiday themed clothing available for MyPark and MyTeam game modes, just in time for Christmas. With these special clothes, players can wear Christmas pajamas, a Santa hat, a Gingerbread T-shirt, as well as other items.
