The largest online tutoring service announced the availability of Spanish tutors online for high school and college students receiving Spanish courses.

Tutor.com are supporting students learning Spanish at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels including AP level at all hours of the day.

"Tutor.com is easy to use for students from kindergarten through college," stated Tutor.com's Vice President of Corporate Communications Jennifer Kohn, exclusively to Latin Post.

According to Kohn, a student can enter their grade level, the subject they need help in and their question on Tutor.com. The student will then be connected to a tutor in Tutor.com's Online Classroom. The student and tutor will work in the interactive Online Classroom where they can utilize various tech resources to communicate with each other such as text each, talk using VoIP, and share Web pages, to name a few. A student's session is saved for them to review.

"We are always adding new subjects to our service to meet students' needs," said Kohn, noting Spanish is the most popular foreign language among high school students with 68 percent. "Students need help mastering the language and our tutors can help with everything from basic grammar to editing essays and helping with pronunciation."

Students wanting help with their Spanish can receive assistance from adjective agreements, irregular verb forms, complicated verb tenses, subjunctive mode and reflexive and relative pronouns. The Tutor.com tutors are also available to assist students' writing short essays in Spanish and understand the basics in pronunciation.

Since Tutor.com's addition of Spanish on April 2, Kohn confirmed they've completed approximately 500 language lessons by April 9 and demand for the service is expected to grow.

Kohn noted Tutor.com offers service to dozens of additional subjects online including business, English, math, science, and social studies, to even career and teacher coaching. Accessible from any computer with Internet access, Tutor.com includes more than 3,000 expert tutors with over 10 million one-to-one tutoring sessions completed. The online tutoring service noted 90 percent of its students have received better grades as well as feeling more confident and completing their homework on time.
