Samsung Galaxy S4 Case, Price & Review: Android 4.4 KitKat Update & What To Expect After S5 Release
Samsung Galaxy S4 users might be ready to make the switch over to the upgraded Samsung Galaxy S5, but there is no need to rush: Samsung is still providing updates for Android 4.4 KitKat.
Just like iPhone users who do not have the latest iPhone 5s or 5c but still use the updated operating system, Samsung Galaxy users can still enjoy the latest updates -- even on what is becoming an outdated phone option.
In addition to the operating system, you can still find accessories to go along with your phone too. If you just picked up the Samsung Galaxy S4, you can buy the Otter Box case, and although it is pricey at around $60, it is worth it since it protects against all sorts of wear and tear that could bring problems for the phone. Considering that the S5 is on its way to the market, now would be a good time to make sure you get your accessories for the soon-to-be outdated S4.
As the S4 paves way for the S5, it could also pave way to cheaper prices for you. If you're looking to get Samsung Galaxy phone but you don't really care which one, go with the S4 and look for it to start dipping in price as Samsung starts phasing it out.
All in all, the S5 will have vast improvements over its predecessor, but if you're budget friendly, the S4 is not a bad option. After all, plenty of people will be keeping their S4 for the foreseeable future.
What do you think about the Samsung Galaxy S4? Would you still buy it today if it were cheaper than the S5? Feel free to let us know what you think in the comments section located down below.
