The sequel to the Lenovo K3 Note smartphone is apparently arriving soon. The Chinese tech giant recently took to Twitter to tease the upcoming handset.

The device, which is rumored to be called the K4 Note, is expected to debut in India, given that the teaser was published by Lenovo India's Twitter account. Rumor has it, the smartphone will launch sometime next month.

Per GSM Arena, preliminary specs of the K4 Note include MediaTek's Helio X10 processor, a fingerprint scanner and a full-metal body. Of course, these specs are still debatable, so take them with a wee bit of salt for now.

To give you an idea on what the K4 Note might have in store, the current-gen K3 Note rocks a 5.5-inch screen carrying a 1080 x 1920 resolution display. MediaTek's MT6752 SoC is on board containing an octa-core CPU clocked at 1.7GHz. There's 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage that can be expanded up to 32GB with the help of a micro-SD card slot, NDTVGadgets reported.

The K3 Note boots Android 5.0 Lollipop right off the bat while the lights are kept on by a removable Li-Ion 3,000 mAh battery. It supports multiple connectivity options such as 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. In the camera department, the smartphone was fitted with a 13-megapixel back camera and a five-megapixel front-facing unit.

The K3 Note was launched in India in the second quarter of 2015, priced at the equivalent of $150. Due to its budget-friendly price tag, the K3 Note sold over one million units in India. Unlike the rumored full-metal K4 Note, the K3 Note came with a plastic build.

One of the main reasons why the K3 Note's price point was so appealing to customers was that there were only a few smartphones offered at the same price that provided a 5.5-inch screen with full HD display. It still remains to be seen if the K4 Note's pricing will be as enticing and accessible for the wider market.

In the meantime, the smartphone market isn't the only thing in Lenovo's mind as the company recently introduced the new 10.1 Yoga Tab 3 Pro. Not only that, it also unveiled the tablet's revolutionary accessory dubbed as the Screen Jacket.

TheGadgetsFreak pointed out that the Screen Jacket retails for $383, nearly as much as the tablet itself. When flipped, the piece of clothing transforms into a movie screen that's 47 inches wide and 24 inches tall. Click here to view a live action demo of the Yoga Tab 3 Pro accessory.
