Eva Longoria and recently announced fiance Jose Antonio Baston have wasted little time celebrating their news across the globe.

The "Desperate Housewives" star and the mass media mogul recently jetted to Dubai with friends and family to get a head start on celebrating their union.

The Daily Mail reports Longoria was the picture of contentment as she toasted her good fortune with champagne surrounded by a group of around 20. At one point, she boldly dove in to share a passionate smooch with Baston as everyone looked on.

The party rang up a sizable bill as guests feasted on a menu that included sea bass, crème brûlée and linguine with freshly shaved black truffle.

Guests included Dubai entrepreneur Evgeny Kuzin, Abu Dhabi businessman Ayman Al Afifi and Maria Bravo, all of whom seemed mesmerized by the huge ruby engagement ring Longoria as she drank champagne alongside Baston.

 "I'm truly in love, mostly... every moment we get to spend together is a blessing," Longoria recently raved to friends.

"People want a secret to looking good, but there isn't one. I'm in love, that has a lot to do with it."

A source hinted to People Longoria has grown more smitten with Baston with each passing day.

"He's been sweeping her off her feet and courting her like a proper gentleman," a source added of the man known to friends as "Pepe."

Forty-year-old Longoria has previously been married to NBA star Tony Parker and actor Tyler Christopher. Her marriage to Parker lasted four years, while she and Christopher parted ways after just two.

"They're a gorgeous couple, and I've never seen her happier," said longtime pal Ana Ortiz. "I am so thrilled that she has someone who is not intimidated by her and who is not afraid by her power, her beauty, her friendship and her drive."
