The League of Nations has been only formed for about a month, but it looks like the stable is not going to last longer. According to a couple of reports, the rumor is that the team, led by former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus, is about to be disbanded.

In a report by Cageside Seats, fans should not expect the League of Nations to be together much longer and the notion is the stable will not even make it past WrestleMania 32 in Dallas next year. Besides "The Celtic Warriors" Sheamus, the team also consists of U.S. champion Alberto Del Rio, "The Bulgarian Brute" Rusev and King Barrett.

The stable was formed as an alliance of superstars of different nationalities to help then-WWE champion Sheamus fend off Roman Reigns in his pursuit to win back the title. The Irish superstar won the WWE championship by cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase at Survivor Series after Reigns defeated Dean Ambrose in the tournament final.

Inquisitr noted in an earlier report that one of the plans for Sheamus' title reign was to retain his WWE championship at the TLC pay-per-view and drop it to Roman at the Royal Rumble. "The Celtic Warrior" did retain his title at TLC but lost it the next night when Reigns finally won over the WWE crowd and the belt that also involved Mr. McMahon's return to television.

It is obvious that Sheamus will get his rematch until his feud with Reigns end. As for the other members, Alberto Del Rio is still the U.S. champion and will battle the returning John Cena at the start of 2016.

Rusev was involved in a personal feud with Ryback that also include Lana. He defeated "The Big Guy" in TLC in a decisive way, which could mean that he would be booked as a vicious heel again. The Bulgarian kind of lost his swagger when he was involved in a terrible storyline along with Dolph Ziggler and Summer Rae in the summer.

King Barrett has also been lost in the shuffle after winning the King of the Ring tournament earlier in the year. According to Wrestle Zone, Barrett revealed that he was suffering from a nerve damage that kept him out of television last week, including the TLC PPV and the latest episode of Monday Night Raw.

He returned on Tuesday's SmackDown tapings that will air on Thursday night on SyFy Network. The Englishman appeared alongside the members of the League of Nations when they helped Del Rio beat Ryback.
