Android Apps vs. iOS 7 Apps 2014: Best Camera & Picture Taking Apps For Smartphones
Smartphone cameras have improved so much in recent years that many people have decided to do away with their regular cameras entirely. With that being said, however, what can we do to make sure our photos are just as great as they were on that impressive, expensive camera we had before?
A number of smartphone applications have emerged to help you with this, and today we'll take a look at some of the best apps to try out when it comes to taking the best -- and the coolest -- photographs with your phone.
Some apps listed below are best suited for Android phones while others could be the perfect option for someone who has an iPhone. Just as all phones differ, so do the cameras on each respective smartphone.
1. Scene: A new way to do photos (Google Play) - This app is not about touching up your photos and editing them but rather organizing them. Many of us snap photos all day long and a huge archive builds up; this app helps you fix that. You can browse through tens of thousands of photos in a fast and efficient way, according to the app's description. It also has an impressive 4-star rating on Google Play.
2. Split Pic Photo Editor (Apple Store) - This app takes an interesting approach by giving you the opportunity to divide photos into sections, but it also seems good in that you can add in plenty of cool effects. It's worth a try, but it might not be for everyone.
3. Camera 360 (Google Play and Apple Store) - This app is particularly cool because it is able to differentiate between different kinds of photos. People can use the Selfie Camera, the Easy Camera, Funny Camera, and more.
Of course, these are just a few of the many different kinds of apps available for users who want to spice up their photos in various ways. Feel free to chime in via the comments section below and tell us which app is your favorite.
