Mortal Kombat X News: First Look at One of DLC Characters in Action Coming Soon
The four new characters coming to Mortal Kombat X as downloadable content (DLC) have already been revealed, but no one has seen them fight yet. In January, the first look at one of the four DLC characters in action will be shown to fans.
A Kombat Kast is coming Jan. 24, 2016, during the ESL finals, Eventhubs reports. During this Kombat Kast, a Kombat Pack 2 character will be shown off fighting.
NetherRealm Studios' community specialist Tyler Lansdown tweeted the news about the Kombat Kast. This will be the first time that fans see an upcoming character that will be added to the game in 2016 actually fighting. The only footage that fans have seen of the four upcoming characters is a tease video when they were announced.
@ESLMortalKombat announced it tonight. There will be a Kombat Kast at the ESL finals Jan 24th. Showing off a KP 2 character. Can't wait!

The four new characters that have been added are Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Xenomorph from Alien, Bo Rai Cho and Tri-Borg. Bo Rai Cho is from previous versions of Mortal Kombat and Tri-Borg is a created character that combines three Mortal Kombat characters.
Leatherface is the chainsaw wielding character who used to work in a meat market. It would be interesting to see his fatality or how he plans to use the chainsaw in Mortal Kombat fights.
Tri-Borg is a mixture of the Cyrax, Sektor and Robot Smoke characters from previous versions of Mortal Kombat. Tri-Borg will likely be a well-rounded mixture of the the three characters, but what finishers and fatalities he will use are still in question.
An interesting rivalry could be made between Xenomorph and Predator. The Alien vs. Predator movies have shown the rivalry between the two species, but if the Kombat Kast chooses to put Xenomorph against Predator in a Mortal Kombat X fight scene, it would excite many Mortal Kombat fans.
