The Republican Nation Debate held earlier his week on CNN was the perfect fodder for "The Daily Show" and Trevor Noah. But what his die-hard fans were not expecting was his seemingly appraisal of Bush's growing boldness.

According to Salon, Bush finally drew a line in the sand and took on Donald Trump with a vengeance during the live debate. It seemed like something that the former front-runner has been lacking for quite some time.

Noah opened up his commentary for the post-debate monologue with the some interesting moments during the debate that Republican fans have likely been waiting for, which was for Bush to finally start fighting back against the Trump bully machine.

He started off with the sheer size of the Republican field, which he compared to a high school reunion. He then moved on to the Ben Carson's "moment of silence," which Noah characterized as "disguising nap time" for the candidate.

He then moved on to the candidate's seemingly universal view that they all wanted to go to war, which he capitalized on John Kasich's "punch the Russians in the nose" remark. But he wouldn't go one moment further without mentioning Ted Cruz's comments about carpet-bombing ISIS. Noah compared that to bombing people with toilet carpet, which he said could be purchased at "Blood Bath & Beyond."

But his magnum opus for the monologue was the Bush/Trump face-off.

Bush started talking over Trump during the debate and Trump hurled several insults at him for doing it.

Bush then replied by saying, "Donald you're not going to be able to insult your way into the Presidency, it's not going to happen."

Noah seemed to really love that comment and it even got applause from his audience as well as the debate audience.

"Yeah! Go Jeb! Whoo! You could see Jeb's balls growing as he was speaking. It's a Christmas miracle," Noah said. "But here's the problem. That only made Jeb's balls a bigger target for Trump to kick."
