Meek Mill could face prison time at his February sentencing after a Philadelphia judge found he violated the terms of his probation with all of his out-of-state traveling and by failing a drug test.

TMZ reports the bad boy rapper and Nicki Minaj's boyfriend broke down several times while on the stand, at one point pleading with the judge, "I'm not a gangsta. I'm not a criminal. I have my queen, Nicki, now. I'm trying to do better and I feel I can be the best rapper out there."

After finding the Philly rapper in "technical violation" of his parole, the judge put off his actual sentencing until after the new year but stipulated he is not allowed to leave a five county area of the state.

During the near week-long trial, Minaj also took the stand on her boyfriend's behalf, admitting to the judge that her man can still sometimes be irresponsible but has grown by leaps and bounds since they became a couple.

At one point, Minaj also assured the judge that she planned to actively assist her boyfriend in adhering to the conditions of his parole going forward.

Meek's parole stems from a 2009 gun and drug conviction. He was remanded to custody for several months last year after again violating his parole. Back then, the rapper again was found to have traveled out of state without permission and made disparaging comments about prosecutors on social media.

"I didn't want to do this, but you made me do this," the judge told the hip-hop star in ordering him to custody for three to six months.

Sources close to the rapper indicated he was convinced the D.A. had a vendetta against him and was intent on taking him down because he had an album that was about to be released.
