'WhatsApp' Update 2.12.287 for Nokia Symbian Devices Now Available for Download; Are There New Features?
WhatsApp has been one of the most updated mobile apps today and regardless of what device you use, it will certainly receive its WhatsApp update in no time.
Take for example the Nokia Symbian device that recently received WhatsApp update 2.12.287. According to Sam Drew Takes On, the WhatsApp update 2.13.287 is currently available for download. The new WhatsApp update has improved the app's ability to send audio files and photos. Unfortunately, it has not integrated the voice calling for the Nokia Symbian. Currently, the voice calling feature of WhatsApp is limited only to devices that run on the iOS, Android, BlackBerry 10 and Windows platform.
Despite the latest WhatsApp update not bringing the voice calling feature on the Nokia Symbian device, rumors say that it will eventually be made available on the platform. The current WhatsApp update 2.12.287 for Nokia Symbian brings some bug fixes on the app as well as some overall enhancement on the app. The current WhatsApp update 2.12.287 is in its beta form, which means that it's not yet available on the Google Play Store but is currently downloadable on the WhatsApp website. Users can also download the said update from third party websites.
In order to download the latest WhatsApp update 2.12.287, you will be required to open the Nokia Symbian browser and visit whatsapp.com/nokia and click "Download Now." Once the WhatsApp Update has been downloaded, you can click the file to open and install it on your Nokia device. Since the current WhatsApp Update is in its beta version, expect the app to have some few glitches that will eventually be used in order to determine some of the app's setbacks and will be used to improve the app before it heads to its final stage.
Meanwhile, Sam Drew Takes On also reveals that WhatsApp has now been unbanned in Brazil. According to the outlet, the app was banned in Brazil for 48 hours but a court judge ruled it out, saying the duration of the ban was too long. WhatsApp was previously banned in Brazil after it failed to release some information that were connected to drug trafficking in the country. As a result, Sao Paulo judge Sandra Regina Nostre Marques slapped the company with a 48-hour ban.
