Actress Salma Hayek proved she has some sense of humor when it comes to presidential candidate Donald Trump with her latest Instagram post.

On Saturday, the 49-year-old Mexican-American actress posted a photo of herself standing next to a piñata of Trump on her Instagram account.

In the photo, the star can be seen giving the camera a sly look and holding a stick that will most likely be used to break apart the piñata.

"An American Friend gave me this Donald piñata as a Christmas gift. What should I do with it? #american #friend #donald #pinata #christmas," she captioned the photo.

Like many of her famous Latino peers, Hayek has spoken out about Trump since he made his controversial comments about Mexican immigrants back in July.

At first, the star told E! Online that she wasn't surprised at all by the comments because she knows that Trump loves publicity.

"I'm aware that he would say anything to attract attention and create the publicity around him," she said.

During an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Hayek furthered expanded on the Republican candidate and his comments, explaining that she doesn't want to be manipulated.

"I'm not insulted because I cannot be insulted by stupidity. Everybody's entitled to have uninformed opinions. Everybody's entitled to be dumb. But I'm not dumb, so I see through the manipulation," the Latina said. "We have something to learn from this. That is that the educated people or the people with great human values have to wake up, because they are under the illusion that most of this country is like them and sometimes they don't even go to vote."

The actress also chose to view the positive aspect of the whole Trump controversy, adding that his comments bring light to the issue of racism in America, which is far more prevalent than what people think.
