British stunt woman Olivia Jackson made a devastating announcement that she will lose an arm after a terrifying accident on the set of "Resident Evil." As per Fox News, Jackson was also a stunt double for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" as she took on Daisy Ridley's dangerous takes.

During an interview with The Sun, Jackson revealed how grateful she is to be alive, "My left arm is paralyzed and is going to have to be amputated. My facial scarring is horrible and I wish I had my old face. But I'm truly grateful to be alive."

Mirror reported that the 32-year-old stunt double was placed in an induced coma with a punctured lung and head injuries after crashing into a metal camera arm. The accident took place while they were shooting a high speed motor bike scene for "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" in Africa last September.

At that time, Jackson was a stunt double for Charlize Theron and Rosie Alice Huntington-Whiteley. She's done several films including the 2015 box office hit "Mad Max: Fury." She was also Gwyneth Paltrow's double in "Mortdecai" and Karen Gillian's in "Guardians of the Galaxy." Mirror also added that Olivia is a trained Muai Thai fighter and has worked as a stunt woman since 2011. After the accident, she is now based in South Africa and is still working as a stunt double.

At the time of her accident, Jackson's husband, David Grant, went to Africa to be with her. Grant also works as a stunt double for various Hollywood films. At the time of the accident, Grant took the social media by storm by posting a heartfelt message for his wife which he posted on Facebook. He also posted a touching message for Olivia's family and fans that supported her and wished her well while she's on her hospital bed as per Mirror's report:

"I want you all to know that she has been making steady progress and your thoughts and good vibes are all working so please keep them up! She's my inspiration and my world and one tuff little mother f****r! She's fighting hard and the team of people working on Olive have been amazing and have been doing some incredible work. I whisper to her everyday telling her about the support she's getting worldwide!"

There are haven't been any updates yet as to Olivia's operation. No specific date was announced on when the doctors would amputate her arm.
