‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6 Part 2 News: Norman Reedus Calls Second Half 'Super Intense'
With a little more than a month to go before fan favorite AMC TV show "The Walking Dead" returns, star Norman Reedus gave fans a little insight into what to expect from the second half of Season 6. Needless to say, fans have not seen anything yet.
According to an interview on Variety, the show is poised to come back with major pivotal moments that echo events that took place in the comic book series. But fans should know that the show does not follow storylines from comics absolutely, so no one can know exactly what's coming.
Reedus was comically sly about revealing any information about the second half of Season 6.
"I feel like if I tell you anything about the show an AMC satellite will laser beam me in the forehead and I'll just drop on the floor," Reedus told Variety.
But in good spirits, Reedus did disclose what fans should expect moving forward, without giving away any real spoilers. Fans have especially anticipated the arrival of the Saviors and Negan, but the actor didn't comment there.
"I will say that the back half [of "The Walking Dead" Season 6] is the best eight [episodes] we've ever done," Reedus said. "It's super intense. I mean that show, this season has kind of been like if you pulled back an arrow and let it go at the end of the first episode, that arrow is just gaining momentum. It's - it's very intense."
With that being said, fans have already seen that the Saviors will show up on the show soon in a special clip that was released recently. Although that clip did not show the character of Negan, his name was mentioned, and there was plenty of reason to believe that he is going to be introduced on the show.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan ("Supernatural," "Extant") has already been cast as Negan, though he has yet to appear in any promo.
