Josh Duggar Spending Christmas with Family? Duggars Visited Eldest Sibling Amid Ongoing Rehabilitation
It seems that Josh Duggar, who's currently in a rehabilitation center in Rockford, Illinois, did not spend the holidays alone. His family reportedly went to visit him on Thursday night via a private chartered plane that departed from a Springdale, Arkansas airport.
Based on the federal registration records, the Duggars' 2004 fixed wing, single-engine Cirrus SR-22 arrived in Illinois on Christmas Eve. According to People, Josh's faith-based rehabilitation center, Reformers Unanimous, is located in Illinois and the eldest Duggar sibling has been treated there since August after his controversial porn addiction and infidelity scandal.
An insider also revealed that Josh would likely stay at the rehab center over the Christmas holiday and the Duggars' private flight to Illinois could mean his family visited him for Christmas.
Meanwhile, Josh's wife Anna Duggar has recently compared her husband's sex scandal to the process of getting through the pain of childbirth. The 27-year-old mom-of-four candidly talked about the pain she's going through as she braved her husband's infidelity, molestation and porn addiction controversies, as per Daily Mail.
"I think, for everyone, it has been hard but I think it's been a good opportunity to draw close to God and just trusting God for his wisdom to take the next step," Anna said. "I feel like I have been in labor for days. When you're in labor, you just make it through the next contraction and go on. I think there's been a lot of that lately, of just taking the next step and going on."
Their current situation, however, is weighing on her as she reminisces their happy moments as a family.
"We'll see what God has in store for the future," Anna added. She also talked about how betrayed she felt after Josh's confession.
"I think it is such a betrayal for a spouse to go through what we're walking through," Anna tearfully said during an appearance on the family's special TLC reality show, "Jill & Jessa: Counting On." "It was hard to realize that it was such a public thing, and so, not only was it a betrayal against me, but it was also a betrayal for those who call themselves Christian. Everyone was able to see us get married and to vow before God to be loyal to each other, and that loyalty was broken. And so, for my heart, it was just broken."
Despite Josh not being home for the holidays, the Duggar family and Anna, who took their youngest daughter Meredith Grace to see her husband last month, were planning a big Christmas get together this year, Entertainment Tonight revealed.
