The WWE roster has been devastated by a lot of injuries this year, including Cesaro who suffered a torn left rotator cuff last November. He was expected to miss about four to six months, but according to several reports, he is expected to recover in time to be part of a program for WrestleMania 32.

In a report by PWInsider via What Culture, Cesaro has been working out and rehabbing his shoulder at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. He is scheduled to visit the Andrews Sports Medicine Center in January at Birmingham, Alabama, to undergo further testing.

The report noted that the WWE wants to have a better insight about the timeline of his recovery so that the creative team can start making plans for WrestleMania 32. Cesaro underwent shoulder surgery last Nov. 23, revealing to WWE.com that he had the injury for a couple of months prior.

"I've had the injury for over two months, but I guess I never really knew how bad it was if that's the right word? So, it's more a mental thing, because all of a sudden you can't do what you've been doing. Now you have to get surgery and you'll be out for a bit," Cesaro said.

"I knew something was wrong for a while, but I thought that it was just sprained or something like that. So, I iced it and had it looked at," he added.

According to Daily Wrestling News, the Swiss superstar was in line for a big push before going down with an injury. WWE chairman Vince McMahon was reported to be very impressed with Cesaro's matches as of late, including against Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns.

The report noted that McMahon liked his match against Reigns, even saying that it was the best match of the current WWE champion's career. The backstage talk within the company is that a lot of people, including the creative team and locker room, like Cesaro, and many are hoping that he finally gets his push once he returns from his shoulder injury.

The WWE Chairman said in the past that Cesaro needs to connect more with the WWE universe and grab the proverbial brass ring. Cesaro did just that as he was able to get over with the fans on his own, even getting his own "Cesaro Section" in the crowd at every arena.

"The Cesaro Section is the WWE Universe, and I really appreciate all the support. It has showed me that what I believe in, other people believe in as well. I still believe in old school values, I still believe in hard work, I still believe in wrestling, and people have showed that's what they want to see," Cesaro said.
