As the New Year celebration in Port Charles kicks off on the hit ABC series "General Hospital," a lot of couples might be carried away by the romance that the New Year's Eve bring. When the clock strikes at midnight, spoilers reveal that two former lovers might share a kiss that will reunite them once more.

Jason Morgan, who is still on his journey to know about his past, will have a moment with Sam Morgan. Although the two were married before, Jason's memory failed to remember his times with Sam. Sam, of course, will grab the opportunity during the party, and, by midnight, Soap Shows reveal that the two might even share a kiss.

Both Jason and Sam will end up at The Floating Rib, initially engaging in a friendly game. While enjoying the pool, the two will be close enough to kiss just before another year unfolds. The publication further reveals that another love story will possibly start a brand new chapter for the New Year.

Ever since Robin Scorpio was rescued from captivity by Patrick Drake, the two had been inseparable. The lovebirds are even rumored to get engaged before 2016 arrives as Patrick has been planning on proposing to Robin.

However, the proposal might just be delayed after Robin and Jason met on the bridge, which triggered some flashbacks on Jason's memory. Celeb Dirty Laundry reveals that Robin is quite sure that she will never have Jason again because of Sam, and, besides, she is committed to Patrick.

And while Sam and Jason are busy talking and recalling memories since Sam has been trying to get back with Jason now that she knows she and Patrick are absolutely over, Robin's feelings might just make a mess out of Port Charles.

The publication suggests that there is still a huge possibility that Robin's feelings for Jason will return and will ruin Patrick's proposal because she is speculated to propose to Jason instead. It will be a confusing time for Robin since she will also take Patrick to bed as the two share a romantic night together that both have longed for.

Dec. 30 will be the last new "General Hospital" episode for the week. The show will kick off a rerun of its Dec. 2 episode on Thursday. The special airs on ABC along with other episodes to come next week.
