Christina Milian and Lil Wayne are rumored to have put aside their differences to work toward reconciliation.

According to Hollywood Life, after a brief and somewhat contentious split, the two stars have reunited, convinced they are meant to be together.

A source added, after a recent romantic reunion, the couple have made it a top priority to make their relationship work over the long haul.

"Christina loves Wayne and she has an amazing connection with him," a source added. "They both know they are right for each other. They make each other happy and want to keep that bond that they have strong. Staying together as a couple is her priority and things are going well. She is very happy."

The 34-year-old Milian recently revealed that the two had reunited during an episode of her reality show "Christina Milian Turned Up." In the show, it was also revealed the two fell on hard times after the rapper told some sort of "lie," which wasn't discussed in greater detail.

Whatever it may have been, Milian felt like celebrating once it was clear the reconciliation was in full motion.

"I'm feeling like a new woman," she raved. "Wayne and I are back together and so I figured it's time to get a new look from top to bottom."

Meanwhile, the man who recently pleaded guilty to shooting up the rapper's tour bus outside an Atlanta nightclub in the early hours of the morning is appealing his 20-year sentence, according to HotNewHipHop.

Jimmy Winfrey is reported to be angry about the sentence he was given after entering his plea and is requesting that a judge step in to overturn the conviction. Lawyers for Winfrey went before the court on Dec. 18 to formally voice their appeal.

"Christina Milian Turned Up" airs on the E! Network on Thursday nights at 8 pm. ET.
