WWE: 'Wyatt Family' Introducing a Female Member Soon?
Many wrestling fans have been wondering ever since The Wyatt Family made their debut in 2013 who Sister Abigail is. The character has always been mentioned by Bray Wyatt in his promos and is also the name of his finishing move.
In an article by WWE.com, several website staff members decided to take a look at the 10 things fans want to see in 2016. Some of the ideas are improbable, including Sasha Banks winning a male championship or Triple H going after the U.S. title, while others are likely going to happen like John Cena winning this 16th WWE championship.
One of the suggestions is The Wyatt Family finally introducing Sister Abigail to the WWE Universe. Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan made their debut in 2013 by attacking Kane and introduced Braun Strowman this year in their feud with Roman Reigns.
According to Inquisitr, the addition of a female character to the Wyatts will make the group more interesting with their patriarch gaining momentum towards a possible WWE title shot. It can also be a way to elevate a new WWE diva in the roster.
The report also gave several names that can be introduced to the main roster as Sister Abigail including Nia Jax, Asuka and independent wrestler ODB.
Nia Jax
She is the cousin of The Rock and is making a name for herself down at NXT, recently challenging for the NXT Divas championship. Jax does not have the typical look of a WWE diva as she is bigger and has a unique look.
Asuka
The Japanese star is an interesting choice to become Sister Abigail because of her looks, but being a member of the Wyatt Family can protect her weakness in the microphone.
ODB
The 37-year-old has a unique look that matches well for the Wyatt Family, but she is signed with Ring of Honor and wrestled for TNA in the past, winning their women's title four times.
Mika Rotunda
In a report by PWInsider via What Culture, Mika Rotunda, real-life sister of Bray Wyatt, received a tryout with the WWE that led to speculations of her being introduced as Sister Abigail. Ric Flair noted on his "WOOOOO! Nation" podcast that she was trying out to be a ring announcer and not a wrestler.
Mika is said to be a talented talker and could pull off the role of Sister Abigail as a villainous manager. She could pair up with Bray and produce great promos while giving instructions to Harper, Rowan and Strowman.
