‘Blue Bloods’ Season 6 Episode 11 Spoilers: Frank’s Early Career Gets Exposed [Watch]
If there is one thing that an NYPD officer does not like, it's when an ex-partner decides to confess all their dirty little secrets. That is about to happen to commissioner Frank Reagan on the next episode of "Blue Bloods."
Episode 11 is titled "Back in the Day" and will air on broadcast network CBS this Friday, Jan. 8 at 10 p.m. EST, according to TV Guide.
As with most police forces around the country, all their secrets that they may have hidden in a closet somewhere could always come back out years down the road when an ex-partner decides to give a tell all interview or write a book.
That can be especially damaging to someone that has risen through the ranks and joined the hierarchy of the NYPD, like Frank has, according to Spoilers Guide.
In this episode, his first partner on the job is now retired and planning to publish a book about his experiences with the NYPD. That will also include airing Frank's dirty laundry, given his immense stature with the department and the city.
So as you might guess, Frank is in a state of distress. He is worried that if there is anything in that book that might embarrass him, given his celebrity status in the city, that could have serious repercussions on his life and career.
But as fans already know, Frank has navigated much more treacherous waters than this and he has overcome many different odds to achieve everything that is on his current resume. That includes playing politics, when necessary.
There is also going to be a situation in the episode where Jamie and Eddie have to respond to an "officer in need of assistance" call. But that situation will turn into a nightmare for them, following the choices they have to make. The outcome could also effect their personal lives as well as their jobs.
