Singer Natalia Jiménez took to social media to announce that she had wed her longtime boyfriend, Daniel Trueba, in a private ceremony, just a few days before her birthday on Dec. 29.

The former member of La Quinta Estación surprised fans by posting a photo of her wedding ring on Instagram on Jan. 2. She captioned the photo, "What a birthday!!! I have been gifted with a husband! Danny Trueba, I love you."

Jiménez also posted an image of her wedding dress. The star can be seen in a vintage-inspired ivory gown and sheer white gloves. She is wearing her hair in a bun, as she holds a classic bouquet of white roses.

In the photo's caption, the "Creo en Mi" singer thanked her family and friends for being a part of her nuptials.

"Thank you to our best friends and family for being with us on this night. I will hold in my heart forever!" she wrote.

According to TVyNovelas, the singer and Trueba, who is her manager, have been together since 2009. The wedding was also meant to be a gift for Jiménez.

While this is the first marriage for the star, she was briefly engaged in 2009 but called off the wedding.

The singer is the second Latin star in the last two months to use social media to release her wedding photos.

Actress Sofia Vergara, who wed actor Joe Manganiello in November, also shared photos on Instagram and kept images from her big day from leaking elsewhere online.

Jiménez, who has had quite a successful solo career since La Quinta Estación disbanded in 2009, released her second studio album in March of last year. She also served as a judge on the fourth and fifth seasons of Telemundo's "La Voz Kids."
