The Evad3rs have yet to make an announcement regarding the status of the iOS 7.1 Jailbreak and the only device that is said to have been jailbroken on iOS 7.1 is the iPhone 4, according to reports.

Two members of the Evad3rs team, Nikias Bassen (@pimskeks) and pod2g (@pod2g) will be training people on iOS exploitation techniques at some point this year, according to the HITB Haxpo website.

This is interesting considering that the Evad3rs have typically been the only group to release jailbreaks. Now it seems the group is looking to help others who are looking to do the same.

"Arm yourself with the essential skills and knowledge to become the next iOS jailbreaker!" the training event description says on the Haxpo website. "This 2-day course will put you in the drivers seat as you learn everything from a basic introduction to iOS to the most advanced techniques used by the evad3rs team in their latest jailbreaks. Topics covered will span the A-Z of iOS exploitation including reverse engineering, debugging, fuzzing and next generation exploitation techniques."

Rumors in comments sections have started to suggest that perhaps the Evad3rs have shifted their focus to iOS 8, which is expected to be released with the next iPhone in 2014. If this is the case, jailbreakers will have plenty of time to get used to the latest Cydia tweaks while still using the older jailbreak.

What do you think will happen next with the iOS jailbreak? Will the Evad3rs shift their focus to working on iOS 8 so that they are not too delayed or do you think they will release an iOS 7.1 jailbreak beforehand? Feel free to chime in via the comments section down below and let us know what you think will happen next.
