During the launch of the Google Nexus back in July 2013, there were reports that a Nexus Tablet 10 2 was being conceptualized. Wall Street Journal reporter Amir Efrati reported that Android and Chrome president Sundar Pichai confided to him that the public can indeed expect a modern Nexus 10 made by Samsung in the coming months.

It was back in November 2012 when the Google Nexus 10 was launched. This device first got users interested in hearing that there would be a new edition released. However, the Google Nexus 10 2 launch was reported to have been set aside as the company is concentrating on having a Nexus 8 with a new Android version launch in June during the I/O Conference. This means that there is no exact release date for the Google Nexus 10 2 at this time.

Until official information on the release date of Nexus 10 2 is confirmed by Google, its price remains uncertain. The newest generation is priced at $399 which may hint that the Nexus 10 2 will be more expensive. The Nexus 7 is currently priced at $229, $269, and $349 for the 16 GB, 32 GB and 32 GB LTE versions respectively.

The public may want to know what is taking Google so long to release the Nexus Tablet 10 2 when it has already been announced and it might just be that Google wants to space out its releases. Whatever reason Google has for the delayed release, it has only made customers anticipate its launch even more.
