The 2016 Royal Rumble is about two weeks away and many are excited about the outcome of the event as it officially kick starts the Road to WrestleMania 32 in Dallas. This year's Rumble match is one of the most interesting in recent history because Roman Reigns' WWE World Heavyweight Title is on the line and among the possible winners, according to several reports, are Triple H and NXT champion, Finn Balor.

In last Monday's episode of Monday Night RAW, WWE chairman Mr. McMahon ordered Reigns to defend his WWE championship at the Royal Rumble match. Dave Meltzer said on a recent episode Wrestling Observer Radio via All Wrestling News, "It makes it real interesting. We know that Roman Reigns and Triple H is going to happen. But now, there's the idea that Reigns beats 28 guys, then Triple H beats him to win the Rumble."

"Well, Vince did say Hunter was going to get his revenge and you weren't going to see it coming," co-host Bryan Alvarez added. One of the original plans for Reigns is to face John Cena, but Cena is out for six to nine months because of a shoulder injury.

Another name being tossed around as a possible winner is current NXT champion, Finn Balor. According toTInquisitr, the WWE has been teasing the arrival of the "Balor Club," a new stable derived from New Japan Pro Wrestling's "Bullet Club" that Balor was a part of before he joined WWE.

The report noted that two members of that group, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson are part of the NJPW talents coming to WWE along with A.J. Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura. Balor is rumored to be making his main roster debut at the Royal Rumble match, and Gallows and Anderson could help him win the WWE title to make the Road to WrestleMania more interesting.

WWE can go different ways including making Roman Reigns vs. Triple H a more personal feud and be for the belt anymore. Brock Lesnar is also set to return to television this week and he is one the favorites to win the Rumble match.

Bleacher Report speculates that Bray Wyatt could also emerge as a possible winner with the help of Luke Harper, Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman. It is the perfect chance for the WWE to create another main event star while the likes of John Cena, Seth Rollins, Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan are all out due to injuries.

As of this writing, there are only ten superstars confirmed for the Royal Rumble including Reigns, Chris Jericho, the Big Show, Ryback, Curtis Axel, Dolph Ziggler and the four Wyatt Family Members. Expect to more names to be added in this week's episode of RAW.
