Tyson Fury is known to be a showman, and such was in full display once again at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Fury was around to witness the ninth-round knockout win of Deontay Wilder against Artur Szpilka at the time, and the British boxer seemed to have found the opportunity to add some color by stepping into the ring as Wilder was savoring his win.

With Wilder getting the traditional interview, Fury came in to spoil the moment. He taunted Wilder but the American boxer stood his ground and jawed back at the British champion.

"There's only one Tyson Fury," ranted the British champion via SkySports, which did not sit well with Wilder.

Things got a bit heated at that point, with Wilder responding to Fury and calling him a 'phony'. Wilder knows that Fury was trying to make a scene but he was not in the mood.

“You're just a phony. This is just an act," replied Wilder via Bleacher Report. "You know where I am. You know what time, what place. I ain't scared of nobody. I'll come to your backyard, baby. I don't play this. You should have been an actor. When we do step in the ring, this ain't wrestling. This ain't the WWE, baby."

Fury is expected to return to the ring soon and face Wladimir Klitschko for a rematch. Both camps have been in talks but nothing has been made official.

With the recent events, a fight involving Wilder and Fury could be taking shape. However, the question is when it can happen. The developing color between the two heavyweights have spiced up things a bit in the heavyweight division, with some wanting to see how the two fare in an official fight.

What is clear right now is that Fury has been making more enemies during his reign, and Wilder is up to the task.

At some point, the two will cross paths though the actual date when it will happen will depend on a lot of factors, the rematch with Klitschko included.

Fury is expected to employ the same mental approach he used on Klitschko against Wilder if negotiations pull through. The British champion will have to be careful with Wilder since it doesn’t look like he will be as composed as the 39-year-old Ukrainian.
