The first images of the official cast of "Frente al Mismo Rostro," a remake of "Lazos de Amor," have been released and shared by the telenovela's stars on social media.

Actor David Zepeda shared an image on his Instagram account of himself with stars Boyer and her boyfriend Sebastián Rulli, during filming on their first scenes for the upcoming telenovela by Televisa.

The images were also shared on the telenovelas's official Instagram account, which also shared images from the official gathering of the cast and crew to begin filming on Jan. 18.

The telenovela showrunners also shared an image from the same day of all three leads, along with the crew about to begin filming on Jan. 18. 


Back in August, when Boyer was announced as the telenovela's new lead, the star revealed that she still loved the original version, reported People en Español. Now that production is underway, the actress is revealing that she is convinced the new version will be just as great.

Boyer discussed her excitement to play the role of triplets, made famous by singer and actress Lucero in 1995, and the changes that fans can expect to see, with Televisa Espectaculos.

"Today we are listening to the public so that what we are doing isn't even a rehash of 'Lazos de amor,' the story has changed completely, we conserved the idea of the triplets, but I think that people should give themselves the chance to get to know this new way of writing that Televisa has," Boyer said.

"The script is really good, yesterday I finished reading 80 chapters and I am really excited with what I am reading," she added.

"Frente al Mismo Rostro" will be directed by Angelli Nesma. Boyer will play the role of all three triplets, while Rulli and Zepeda will play love interests.
