Dr. Phil McGraw once locked as many as 300 of his employees in a crowded room, some of them apparently against their wishes, and grilled them about leaks to the media.

According to the New York Daily News, those are the assertions levied by former show segment director Leah Rothman in an explosive new suit she recently filed naming the 65-year-old TV psychologist as the defendant.

"If you f--- with me, I'll f--- with you," the suit alleges McGraw taunted workers as his team of security guard held guard at the room's entrance.

On the day in question, Rothman further alleges that she was called into work on her off day, immediately forced to turn off her cell phone and herded into a room where she and others were repeatedly badgered and berated by their boss.

According to Rothman, McGraw already knew who the culprit that had leaked the information was and simply staged the whole scene as a scare tactic to other staffers. At one point during the meeting, he allegedly even read from cue cards, prompting some to conclude it was something that he had been planning for some time.

Rothman added she later sought assistance from the show's human relations department, but her efforts were largely ignored, leaving her little choice but to eventually resign from her position last year when the emotional scars became too much for her to handle.

She is now formally suing McGraw for false imprisonment, emotional distress and wrongful constructive termination and whistle blower retaliation.

While the nature of the leaked information McGraw was then angry about is not publicly known, he did fire an employee last year after news of his planned interview with Nick Gordon about his relationship with the now deceased girlfriend Bobbi Kristina Brown was leaked to the media.

Reps for the "Dr. Phil" show have not yet publicly commented on the suit.
