Australian rapper Iggy Azalea is redefining what it means to create "classic music" with the recent release of her debut album "The New Classic." The 23-year-old rapper/model also went on record this week to explain the shocking and very disturbing reason why she's decided to stop crowd surfing at her concerts.

Let's just say Iggy's fans take getting close and personal to a whole new level.

"Like, they think I'm real slutty, like 'Oh, she got a song called "Pu$y," I know what she wants. She wants these two fingers.' Why would I want a stranger to ever finger me?" Azalea said on Hot 97 on Tuesday. "Buying my album for $12 doesn't mean you get to finger me when I come to your city."

Azalea went on to reveal that the sexual assault from her fans had gotten so bad that she has now taken precautious measures to ensure her safety during her performances.

"It's funny because we were talking about how [on] my tour, I'm only doing like 2,000-seaters but I still have to have barriers, even if it's like 200 people, because people try to [assault] me."

She continued, "I wear, no lie, two pairs of underpants and then a pair of skin-coloured tights and then my pants as like a protection barrier, because there's just no way I'm going to be intruded."

Well, one thing's for sure, we certainly won't be seeing Iggy crowd surfing at any more of her shows.

As for her album, "The New Classic" that is in stores now, Hotnewhiphop projects that Iggy's album will move $50-55k in its opening week.

During a recent interview with Billboard.com, Iggy described her debut album as inspiration to the younger generation.

"...With 'The New Classic,' I want younger generations to look back on what we're doing now and say, 'I wish I was a teenager in 2014.' I come from an era of kids who are always being told that what we make is not classic. But my album says to people my age, 'Don't devalue that we can be culturally significant -- because we can be.'"
