The show kicks off with "Smackdown" GM Vickie Guerrero in the ring with Cesaro, Paul Heyman, Zeb Colter, and Jack Swagger, announcing to the crowd that The Shield would once again compete in an "11-on-3 Handicap" match in the main event.

She went on to moderate "The Great Debate" between Colter and Heyman. Colter asked Heyman why he stole his former client, Cesaro, with Heyman responding by saying that Brock Lesnar ended the Undertaker's Wrestlemania streak 20 times. Colter repeated his previous question and Heyman answered by asking him when was the last time a "Colter Guy" won anything. Colter pushed the podium aside and shoving Heyman before the two were separated.

Cesaro defeated Swagger after hitting him with The Neutralizer. After the bout, The Shield came out to the ring, through the crowd, with Roman Reigns nailing Swagger -- who was suppose to compete in the "11-on-3 Handicap" main event match -- with a Superman Punch before the former world champion ate a Triple Powerbomb. Ambrose grabbed the mic and told the crowd that Swagger had failed to adapt, addressing his message specifically towards Triple H, Batista, and Randy Orton of Evolution as they approach their six-man tag match at Extreme Rules.

Tamina defeated Natalya after catching her with a Superkick.

3MB were backstage, bragging in an interview about being in the "11-on-3 Handicap" main event match before The Shield took out Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal, and Drew McIntyre.

Guerrero took a phone call from WWE COO Triple H and asked her if she had talked with The Shield. She said she tried before "The Game" told her to take the night off, replacing her with "Raw" general manager Brad Maddox.

Jey Uso -- one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions -- took a Swinging Neckbreaker to take a loss at the hands of Curtis Axel.

A steel cage was lowered before The Wyatts appeared in the ring, blaming the WWE Universe for feeding John Cena to the buzzards, after fans voted for Cena to face all three members of the clan in a "3-on-1 Handicap" match last Monday night. Wyatt ended by singing "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands," with the crowd singing along with him.

With Bray Wyatt at ringside taunting the Rhodes siblings, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper of the Wyatt Family defeated Cody Rhodes and Goldust in a tag team match. Goldust bumped into his brother as he was attempting a Moonsault, distracting Goldust long enough to get pinned.

Brad Maddox was in his office fielding a call when he was assaulted by The Shield.

Santino and Emma were scheduled to face Fandango and Layla in a "Mixed Tag Team" match that ended in a no-contest after The Shield mauled Fandango while he was dancing with Layla during their pre-match intro. The Shield tossed Fandango -- slated to be in the "11-on-3 Handicap" main event -- off the top of the ramp going through two tables after taking a Triple Powerbomb.

After trimming the odds, The Shield faced Titus O'Neal, Ryback, Curtis Axel, Damien Sandow, Alberto del Rio, and "Bad News" Wade Barrett in a "3-on-6 Handicap" match. The Shield cleared the ring despite the "numbers game" against them with Barrett retreating from the ring. Roman Reigns knocked Axel out with a Superman Punch and took out Ryback and O'Neil with a couple of Spears. The "Hounds of Justice" then Triple Powerbombed Ryback, with the three members of The Shield ending the show looking over the carnage they left in the ring.
