A new “Fallout 4: New Vegas” mod will introduce fresh and familiar changes to characters. The version will feature traits and other perks that apply to the post-apocalypse setting.

VG247 revealed that the new mod by Cirosan, called “Traits and More Perks,” provides the traits and bonuses that were not available in “Fallout 4.” These can be found in the game’s Chemistry Station, where gamers can create a special item and consume it to acquire the new attributes.

Players might notice how some of the traits and perks have similarities from previous “Fallout” games. There are also original attributes. Furthermore, players can craft an item to take out the new traits and perks. They can also uninstall the mod to remove these.

The mod has a Nexus page that will encourage players to use the items using the first-person mode, considering that there have been a number of reports that these did not work in third-person perspective. Cirosan stated that gamers can immediately return to third-person mode after they use the item. The first-person mode was essential only while players were using the item.

GameSpot wrote that the entire “Traits and More Perks” mod included nine traits and four perks.

1. Determined. The player becomes unstoppable once they focus on something. The character gets a permanent bonus of 25 to his Damage, Energy and Rad Resistance. His limbs have also doubled in terms of strength. All chems, including Stimpaks, will have no effect on a “Determined” character.

2. Fast Metabolism. Rad Away and Stimpaks will work twice as fast although the player’s fast metabolism will make him twice as vulnerable to radiation and poison.

3. Fear the Reaper. The character will gain experience at double the normal rate although damage from all weapons will also double and recovery from healing sources will be slower.

4. Finesse. The character turns into a clever combatant, with a 10 percent chance to score a critical hit. However, the normal damage will be 30 percent lower.

5. Gifted. The talented character will gain a +2 bonus to every S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stat although the rate of gaining experience will only be 50 percent.

6. Good Natured. Prices of vendors will improve, people are easier to persuade and medicine becomes more effective. Overall damage is lowered by 20 percent.

7. Heavy Handed. Melee and unarmed damage are lessened by 20 percent although all attacks have a five percent chance of scoring a knockout.

8. Small Frame. Characters get +1 on Agility, but their limbs are 25 percent easier to cripple.

9. Tactical Bombing. All explosives will cause double damage although the radius of explosions will be cut in half.

Bethesda also mentioned that there will be mods for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 soon.
