Ninel Conde continues to be a topic of discussion, and now her ex José Manuel Figueroa has added his two cents.

He explained that not all is well with Conde, notes TV Y Novelas.

"Right now, she is living through difficult situation," he said, but he would not elaborate on what is going on with the "El Bombón Asesino" singer.

Rumors abounded that the singer was pregnant. Later, she was accused of having an abortion. Still, there are some sources that continue to say that she is indeed pregnant. Figueroa, however, would not speculate on the matter.

He explained that, though they have remained friends after splitting up, he has no authority to talk about her life.

"I would rather reserve my comments and let the waters calm down," he said.

With the abortion accusations and people believing that her boyfriend set her up, it's easy to see that she's not going through the best of times. But because Figueroa didn't offer any more details, we don't know (and might never know) if her problems are more severe than that.

She recently tried to eliminate rumors by saying that she was pro-life and that as a mother she could never go through with an abortion. She also added that she and boyfriend, Giovanni Medina, were doing fine.

"It's very sad that they want to harm me. They dare to do so much. It's someone that's unscrupulous. I ask that you understand that this is a situation beyond us all," she said. "I am tired because it's already so many things. When I think that it's been too much, something even worse happens. Giovanni is scared. He's not used to these things. I try to calm him down and tell him to have patience."
