It looks like superstar diva Mariah Carey is taking a page right out of the Beyonce handbook.

She's coming out with a secret album for her fans.

Well, sort of.

Unlike Beyonce who kept things completely under wraps and blindsided just about everyone with the surprise release of her latest self-titled album, Mariah Carey informed Billboard.com that she will be releasing an upcoming 14th studio album at an undisclosed date.

As for the album's title and tracklist? Well, that's for her to know and you to find out. Sorry, folks.

"I have to be the one that announces this, especially the title," Carey told Billboard.

Luckily for fans, Carey wasn't completely tight-lipped about her latest musical project. The 44-year-old singer did reveal that the album's name comes from a "personal possession of mine that's part of an entity that I've had almost all my life."

Hmmm... Any ideas on what it could be?

The Daily News reports that Carey's secret studio album has been in the works for quite some time. Since 2010, Carey has reportedly been working on the album.

Though there is no news on the album's official tracklist, fans can expect to hear some exciting collaborations.

According to Carey via Billboard.com, her "secret" 14th studio album will incorporate collaborations with a slew of heavy hitters, including producers like Hit-Boy and Mike Will Made It; guest features from Wale, Nas and Trey Songz; contributions from veteran arranger Larry Gold and the Love Unlimited Orchestra; collaborations with Jermaine Dupri and Rodney Jerkins (of course); and a special guest feature that she's "not allowed to reveal."

Aside from music, Carey also disclosed her plans to venture back into reality television. Though her "American Idol" beef with former "American Idol" judge and rapper Nicki Minaj got extremely heated, she hasn't let that deter her from wanting to pursue other reality competitions in the future.

"I have another [reality TV] project that I'm so very excited about that's finally coming to fruition," she said.
