Super Smash Bros. 4 Wii U, 3DS Release Date & Final Smashes: Brawl Finishing Moves Updated For Kirby, Pit, Mega Man
The fourth iteration of the Super Smash Bros. series (SSB4), scheduled for release later this year, is certainly one of those games that gets console players rife with anticipation. Developed by Sora Ltd. and Bandai Namco Games, the latest installment of the popular brawler series is bound to present exciting new platforms for various characters from the different Nintendo franchises to battle it out with each other. The Nintendo 3DS version will be released in Q3 while the one for the Wii U is slated for a Q4 release.
There are 29 playable characters that can be expected in SSB4. They are as follows: (from the Mario series) Bowser, Luigi, Mario, Princess Peach, and Rosalina & Luma; (from Pokémon) Charizard, Lucario, Charizard, and Pikachu; (from Donkey Kong) Diddy Kong and Donkey Kong; (from Star Fox) Fox; (from Kirby) King Dedede and Kirby; (from The Legend of Zelda) Link, Sheik, Toon Link, and Zelda; Little Mac from Punch-Out; Marth from Fire Emblem; Mega Man from Mega Man; Pikmin & Olimar from Pikmin, Pit from Kid Icarus, Samus and Zero Suit Samus from Metroid, Villager from Animal Crossing, and the Wii Fit Trainers from Wii Fit.
Even more characters, however, are rumored to appear in the game and these include Pokemon X and Y as well as Greninja from gen 6.
On the other hand, one of the features gamers are eagerly looking forward to is the final smashes or the finishing moves that were introduced in the Super Smash Bros. Brawl game. What will the final smashes in SSB4 be?
The rumor mill has details on a few of them, one of which is Greninja's. This stealthy frog character is said to be using Substitute and Water Shuriken for the final attack. Kirby, on the other hand, will no longer be cooking opponents, as he will be wielding a blade called the Ultra Sword. Little Mac will grow into Giga Mac. Mega Man will be summoning all his forms for a final attack. Pit will be supercharged with the "Three Sacred Treasures." Rosalina and Luma will have Luma shooting stars in all directions and with Power Star, a player can stave off some percentage of damage from enemies. Villager will be bringing out members of the Animal Crossing community to build a house around the enemy. Lastly, Wii Fit Trainer will be projecting colorful silhouettes of himself (or herself) to attack opponents.
