Former "The Price Is Right" TV host and animal rights activist Bob Barker is making a comeback to CBS on "The Bold and the Beautiful" soap opera.

Barker will appear on Wednesday's "The Bold and the Beautiful" episode as part of a three-day-long story arc revolving around animal rescue. CBS' "Lucky Dog" star Brandon McMillan and Los Angeles Councilman Bernard Parks will also appear in episodes as part of the arc, CBS News reported.

Barker will not have to hone in any acting skills for his soap opera cameo since he will be playing himself. In the episode, Barker will be interviewed by Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) about issues concerning pet population control.

"Animals can't speak for themselves. They depend on us to protect them," Barker says during the scene.

Barker then encourages Liam to visit the local animal shelter and see the work that's being done to save homeless animals.

This isn't the first time Barker has appeared on "The Bold and the Beautiful." He previously guest-starred on the soap opera in 2002.

The 90-year-old TV veteran is most known for being the game show host of CBS' "The Price is Right." He hosted the show from 1972 to 2007, totaling in a whopping 35 years with the game show. With Bob Barker as its signature face, "The Price is Right" became the longest-running daytime game show in North American television history. In addition to his love of hosting and broadcasting, Barker continuously stayed true to his love of animals. On "The Price is Right," he signed off daily with the words, "Help control the pet population. Have your pet spayed or neutered."

Barker's other hosting credits include "Truth or Consequences," "End of the Rainbow," "The Family Game," "Simon Says," and "That's My Line."

It truly is amazing to see that with such clout in the business and decades of experience under his belt, Barker continues to keep on working.
