The Watch Dogs Game for PS4, PC, and Xbox One is set for a May 2014 release is. It is a brand new IP from Ubisoft, the makers of Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag. The game's setting is in Chicago in a not too distant future, and is in all probability a cross between an Assassin's Creed type game and a futuristic GTA 5.

The Gameplay

A sandbox game, Watch Dogs lets you to discover the different parts of Chicago, beginning from the rooftops to the treacherous underground society of the city. To access the profiles of the citizens and the Central Operating System in every district you need to hack Control Centers, which is the same as the towers that you scale in the Assassin's Creed series and in Far Cry 3.

Jonathan Morin, the creative director of Ubisoft, said that they didn't want to create a big bad corporation, but to rather create an open world game that would combine the game's fantasy with the real world. Cyber-spying revelations have just made the launch well timed.

A reputation system is used in the game, which is based on how the media perceives Aiden Pearce (the main character) and the manner in which the player accomplishes the side quests and missions plus the number of resident victims he has crashed.

He added that the player's reputation will change depending on how their character plays and interferes to gain access, ultimately making a great impact on the whole city and how the people see him.

The driving sections look similar to that of GTA 5 and there are more than 65 vehicles featured on Watch Dogs, all of these are created using a top handling and physics engine.

Ubisoft has released a lot of gameplay trailers for Watch Dogs to get you excited.
