'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' PS4 Patch 1.05 Released, PC and Xbox One Editions Coming Out Soon
PlayStation 4 will be the first to receive "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" patch 1.05. According to Attack of the Fan Boy, the latest patch is released in preparation for the upcoming Awakening DLC expansion. For those who are going to download the latest patch, expect to shed at least 9.4 GB of storage on your PlayStation 4 console to accommodate the update.
Unfortunately, the current patch 1.05 is not available on the Xbox One and PC. However; the website said that the patch will come soon for the two platforms. The Awakening DLC will be available for all three platforms.
Activision has also recently revealed a video for the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's Awakening expansion, featuring one of its biggest maps. According to GameSpot, the Awakening DLC will be available for PlayStation 4 on Feb. 2.
The global expansion of the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" includes several maps from the Activision website. These maps are the Gauntlet, Skyjacked, Der Eisendrache, Splash and Rise.
The Rise map is the one featured on the video released by Activision, which described it as "A versatile multiplayer map, Rise is set in the snowy outskirts of Zurich in the middle of an ongoing construction site for a massive subterranean Coalescence research campus. With multiple engagement areas throughout this larger map, each section caters to different styles of gameplay."
"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" patch 1.05 also include some enhancements on its multiplayer feature with regards to its general view, gameplay, black market, theater, store, combat record, specialists and score streaks. It has also added some game modes: Free for All, Hardpoint, Safeguard, Uplink, Capture the Flag and Search and Destroy.
Zombies on "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" also received some significant enhancements, including that of the Shadows of Evil, Dead Ops Arcade 2 and The Giant. The game's Challenges also showed some glitches that the latest patch 1.05 was able to fix. Now, every completed challenge will be registered to the player's name without any technical difficulty.
Recently, Treyarch announced the Double XP event for "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" on Twitter. The said event was introduced prior to the launching of Awakening. It ran from Jan. 29 to Feb. 1.
