The Pokémon Company has revealed the first image of the newest pocket monster called Magiana in the latest issue of CoroCoro magazine. According to Serebii, Magiana is a mythical Pokémon and is classified as a man-made Pokémon.

No other details have been revealed about what other type of Pokémon Magiana is, but it has a metallic body made by "human hands" more than 500 years ago. Based on its appearance, it has a head with seven gear teeth framing and two large rabbit-like ears.

Its upper body resembles a Poké ball with claw-shaped forearms and pointed hands. On the other hand, its lower body is shaped like a ballgown and also resembles a Poké ball. Serebii noted that Magiana will be making its debut in the 19th Pokémon movie titled "Volcanion and the Ingenious Magiana."

"Volcanion and the Ingenious Magiana"

Serebii translated the plot that was on CoroCoro magazine. It reads, "As Ash and his friends continue their journey, Volcanion drops down from the sky in front of them. Volcanion's object is to recover Magiana, who has been abducted by the 'Azoth Kingdom', a city of super-machinery. However, Volcanion and Ash have become linked together by a strange chain. Will the two of them manage to work together and save Magiana?"

In a report by Crunchy Roll, the 19th Pokémon anime movie will be released in Japan on July 16. It is directed by Kunihiko Yuyama and scripted by Atsuhiro Tomioka. The first trailer for the movie was released last Dec. 21, 2015, which featured Volcanion, a legendary Pokémon and the first-ever water and fire-type.

IGN noted that both Volcanion and Magiana have not been introduced in any Pokémon game, but it may appear on the new "Pokémon Z" version.

"Pokémon Z" Release Date

There is no official confirmation from The Pokémon Company or Game Freak of the development of "Pokémon Z," but many are expecting that it will be released the same time as the augmented reality mobile game "Pokémon GO." Neurogadget speculates that it will be part of the 20th anniversary celebration of the Japanese company.

Many fans believe that the new main Pokémon game will be called "Pokémon Z" after the revelation of Volcanion back in December. The addition Magiana further fueled the speculations of the seventh generation. There were also rumors in the past that the next generation of Pokémon games will be titled "Pokémon Plus" and "Pokémon Minus," per My Nintendo News.
